Retired principal of Hertfordshire College of Higher Education Died peacefully on 11th November 2017 aged 98 years At Hinstock Manor Residential Home, ShropshireAcademic Secretary of National Standing Committee for Education and Training of teachers.Chairman of governors at Middle Barton School, RNIB New College Worcester, chair of Middle Barton Historical Society and National Froebel Foundation.Active member of Somerville London Group, WI, Council for National Academic Awards, CPRE, RSPB, Norfolk Wildlife Trust, RHS and Oxford Botanical Society.Dearly loved Sister, Aunt and Great Aunt. Greatly missed by all her friends.Funeral service to be held at Trinity Church, Newport, Shropshire on Wednesday 29th November 2017 at 10.00am Family flowers only please, donations if desired for Save the Children.
