WARD Peter Passed away peacefully at Southern Down Care Home on 30th November 2017, aged 86 years. Loving Husband to Chris. A caring Dad to Nick and Cliff and his Daughter-In-Laws. Devoted Grandad to Jack, Greg and Louis. A retired school master at Bartholomew School, Eynsham from 1958 1988. After a private cremation a Thanksgiving service will be held at St Leonard's Church, Eynsham on Monday 18th December at 1.30pm. No Flowers please. Donations if desired for Alzheimer's Society may be sent c/o Kings Funeral Service, 82 Evans Road, Eynsham, Oxon, OX29 4QS

I was very saddened to hear the passing of Mr Ward (Peter). He was an inspiration to me during my time at Bartholomew School (1969-74). His patience, care and encouragement set me for the rest of my life. When I came home and met him he would always take time to talk with me. I want to extend my sincere condolences to Chris and the entire family at this sad time. His presence may be gone but we will always hold the precious memories in our hearts. The final curtain has fallen Fagin (the best one the School ever saw) but the applause continue.

Sorry to hear this news i saw him at witney hospital when dad was in there such a nice teacher and man
