Bateman Colin James died at home on 7th February 2019, aged 71. He had suffered for some years from severe arterial disease, but his death was unexpected. His funeral is to be held at Oxford Crematorium on Friday 8th March at 10 am. All are welcome wearing something colourful if possible, but please no flowers. He will be greatly missed by friends and family.

Colin was a good friend, great bass player and one off. He loved tinkering and repairing items that he'd find at boot sales, swap shops etc.. He was always there with a cup of tea and piece of cake whenever I passed by and he'd show me his latest boot sale purchases. I'll miss those visits to his house to see him. RIP Colin.
