GILDEA Thomas William (Tommy) Passed away peacefully at home on 16th October 2019, aged 89 years. Beloved husband of 60 years of Winnie, cherished dad of Maureen, Geraldine and Michael, dear father-in-law to Marie, Ian and Roy and adored grandfather of Luke, Owen, Georgia and Mollie. Tommy will be received into Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Hollow Way on Tuesday 5th November at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass to take place on Wednesday 6th November at 11:30am followed by burial in Botley Cemetery. Hi Maureen, Geraldine, Micheal, great loss to hear that cool man has passed over. Tommy always found time for me when our ways passed to swap stories and catch up on goings on in Cowley and the wider area, Mayo Football, the house in Mayo. Pat Gleeson always called him The Cool Man because of his nice tempered nature, never ruffled, never in a panic, like a joke the same as us all.
Unfortunately I can't be there to see him off on Tuesday or Wednesday but my thoughts and prayers will be focus on the happy times on both days that I shared with Tommy.
