MINTO Jane (Jane Anne Struthers) Passed away on 20th March 2021, aged 70, peacefully at home after a lengthy illness borne with great stoicism and bravery. Jane was the irreplaceable wife to Stephen; sister to John; mother to William and Harriet; grandmother to Lucie, Arthur, Raphael and baby; aunt; great aunt; friend to Helen and many others. She will be sadly missed by her family members, friends and former colleagues. Due to COVID restrictions there will be a private family funeral service on 27th April, 2021. Deepest condolences to all Jane’s family and friends. She was my exact contemporary at Mexborough Grammar School back in the 1960s and I have never forgotten her. She was a lovely, intelligent girl who I’m sure was loved by all who knew her then and in later years. I am only sorry I never saw her again after we left school but she has often been in my thoughts over the years and even more so recently, though I was not aware of her illness. My thoughts are with you all at this time and I grieve with you from afar.
