WHITE Derek Passed peacefully at home in Cheddar after a long illness on 14th October 2022, aged 86. Dearly loved husband of Valerie, Father of William and Clare, Stepdad to Dawn Caroline and Hilary. Private Family cremation in Somerset.

I first knew Derek when we both sang in the choir at St Margaret’s Church in Oxford. Some years later our paths crossed once again when Derek cleaned the windows at Oxford University Press where I worked. He was a really nice man and I’m so very sorry to read of Derek’s passing.
My sincere condolences to his wife and family. Tony Bennell.
