Mary Elizabeth Willett

WILLETT Mary Elizabeth Passed away peacefully on 26th October 2022 aged 85 years. Mary was born in Cheltenham but lived most of her life in the Oxford area. She was a well-known local piano teacher and accompanist, as well as being a classroom music teacher at North Hinksey Primary School and Matthew Arnold School. Mary was devoted to her family and friends and will be greatly missed by her sons Marcus and Paul, her daughters-in-law Beverley and Jo, grandchildren Emily, Alex and Alfred, and extended family. She is now reunited with her late husband Cyril. The funeral will be held on 23rd November at 1.30pm at the Salvation Army in Cheltenham followed by a Committal at Cheltenham Crematorium. Donations in memory of Mary will be welcome to Alzheimer's research. Very sorry to hear this news. Mrs Willett was a wonderful teacher and supporter of music and did a lot for me personally. I shall always remember her fondly. My thoughts are with you all.
