NIND The Revd Robert (Bob) Peacefully on 20th March 2023, aged 91 years. Beloved husband of Bridget, father of Hugh and Frances, grandad of Michael and Rosie. Bob served as a parish priest in Jamaica and South London, and in workplace chaplaincy in the diocese of Oxford. Funeral service to be held at St Mary's Church, Barton on Wednesday 12th April at 11:30am. Having worked with dear Bib in Brixton in the 1970’s I remember him as a kind, considerate colleague and brother priest. He was a wonderful priest and pastor and made a real difference to the people of Brixton, and later on in our diocese of Oxford. I regard it a real privilege to have known him and treasure many good memories. My prayers accompany Bridget,, his children Hugh and Frances, and his grandchildren Michael and Rosie. May he rest in peace and rise in glory!
