BLISS Heather from Summertown, aged 82 years, peacefully at the John Radcliffe Hospital on 12th July. Much loved mother to John, Anna and Madi and grandmother to Alice, Tom and Lauren. Funeral service to take place at St Andrew's Church, Linton Road on 31st July at 11am. No flowers. Donations are gratefully received for Christian Aid and Oxford Hospitals Charity. One of the very few people in the UK let alone Oxford with whom I have shared an Irish childhood. Heather and I used to talk about that sometimes. and found we had some mutual friends and certainly mutual pleasures such as many walks along Killiney beach . a classic view of that beach was on her Facebook page but as I don't 'do' Facebook I only saw it the once........
