TUCKER Carole Shelby Carnes Passed away peacefully at her home in Osney on 26th March, aged 83. A funeral service will be held at St. Mary Magdalen at 10 am on the 24th April. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dogs Trust.Tributes

Carole was possibly the most hospitable woman I have ever met. Her door was always open, extra food made for visitors and a spare room always made up. She was alost the most obedient wife to Shelby,. In her time she was a Southern bell and a barrister. Osney Island will be the less for her passinhg
