POWELL Mari Wynne (née Thomas) Died peacefully in Oxford on 1st May 24, aged 85. Former Head of Frideswide CofE Middle School, Oxford. Much-loved wife of the late Dr Martin Powell, and latterly partner of Dr Gordon Screaton. Beloved mother of Kate and Saffron, grandmother of Lizzie, Imogen, Hermione, Jacob and Jemima, great-grandmother of Morgan and Marcel. Well loved member of the Screaton Family, inspiring friend and teacher to many. Funeral service at St John the Baptist, Stanton St John, OX33 1HW on Wednesday 29th May at 12pm.
