Food hygiene ratings are as important as ever during a pandemic and now everyone is rushing back to eating out at their favourite restaurants, we are taking a look at some of the high achievers of food hygiene ratings.

These are some of the Oxfordshire eateries that have scored top marks in their latest inspections and are food hygiene superstars.

The Magdalen Arms on 243 Iffley Road, Oxford scored five stars on June 3. 

It scored 'very good' in the categories 'food hygiene and safety' and 'structural compliance' and 'high' for the category 'confidence in management' meaning the pub has top marks all round.

The Mad Hatter at The Cricketers Arms on 43 Iffley Road, Oxford scored five stars on June 3.

The unique Alice in Wonderland themed bar scored 'very good' for its 'food hygiene and safety, 'good' for 'structural compliance' and 'high' for 'confidence in management'. 

Victoria Arms on Mill Lane, Marston, Oxford scored five stars on June 2.
The pub scored 'good' for all three categories.

Jee Saheb on 15 North Parade Avenue, Oxford scored five stars on May 27.
The restaurant that serves dishes from India, Bangladesh and Pakistan was marked with 'good' for all categories.

Fantastea on 36 High Street, Oxford scored five stars on May 27.
The bubble tea cafe scored 'very good' for its 'food hygiene and safety' and 'structural compliance' and 'good' for the category 'confidence in management'.
