All lanes on the M40 have been reopened after they were closed for 'emergency' barrier repairs this morning.
Lanes two and three (of three) on the M40 Northbound were closed earlier today, resulting in traffic delays of up to 50 minutes.
The lanes were closed to allow for repairs to be completed after car collided with the central reservation barrier overnight.
Heavy traffic is currently queuing due to the earlier emergency repairs from J8A A418 (Oxford Services / Thame / Aylesbury) to J9 A34 (Bicester)
There is also congestion on the A40 westbound to Headington and A34 northbound back to the M40.
Travel time is around 20 minutes.
Normal traffic conditions are expected at 13:30.
