AS SCHOOLS enter their second week back after the Christmas break, a number across the county are partly-closed.
The main reason for the closures includes Covid-19 and sickness leading to staff shortages.
These are the schools partly-closed this week:
- Bardwell School, Bicester: Year 11 will remain partially closed until Friday 14 due to Covid-19
- Frank Wise School, Banbury: The 7th FG will be closed on January 12 due to insufficient staffing.
- Longford Park Primary School, Banbury:The Nursery class (Froebel) will be closed due to staff shortages. The class intends to reopen on Friday 14th January
- Lydalls Nursery School, Didcot: The school will be partially closed from January 11 to 13 January. The 2 year old base is fully open
- Middle Barton Primary School, Chipping Norton: The Year 3 class will be closed all week due to staffing levels.
- Wroxton Church of England Primary School, Banbury: Reception/Year 1 class (The Eagles) will be closed due to staff sickness.The closure will start on Tuesday 11th January and will be reviewed daily with a view to reopen 'no later than Monday 17th January'.
- St Nicholas CofE Primary School, East Challow: Nursey class closed until end of the week due to Covid-19
- UTC Oxfordshire, Didcot: The school is closed to Year 10 on 11th and 12th January. The school will re-open to all year groups on 13th January 2022.
