17 people have appeared in court this month for speeding on the A41.

All of them were caught driving over the 40mph limit in Bicester.

Here's a round-up of the people fined at Oxford Magistrates' Court this month.

  • Marc Gibbons, 58, of Main Road, Middleton Cheney, was riving at 66mph in a 40mph zone. At Oxford Magistrates' Court on February 15 he was fined £277, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. He must pay a total of £401. 
  • Iloube Felix Ozegbe, 29, of Carmelite Road, Harrow, was caught speeding on the A41 on August 8, 2021. At Oxford Magistrates’ Court on February 15, he was fined £100, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £90. He must pay a total of £224.
  •  Neil John Williams, 48, of Wren Way, Bicester, was caught speeding on the A41 at the Vendee Drive Roundabout on August 27, 2021. At Oxford Magistrates’ Court on February 15, he was fined £100 and had three points on his driving licence.
  • Robert Falgate, 67, of Prince Wales Road, Norwich, drove at 66mph in a 40mph zone on the A41 on July 17, 2021. At Oxford Magistrates’ Court on February 15, he was fined £500 and ordered to pay costs of £90 and to pay a victims surcharge of £50. He also had 6 points on his licence. He must pay a total of £640.
  •  Aaron Ridler, 31, was driving at 66mph on the A41 on March 30, 2021. At Oxford Magistrates’ Court on March 8, he was fined £100, had three points on his licence.
  •  Leah Brown, 20, of Choswell Spring, Oxford, was caught driving at 88mph on March 30, 2021. At Oxford Magstrates’ Court on February 11, she was fined £300, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34, to pay costs of £90 and had six points added to her licence. She must pay a total of £424.
  • Paul Greenaway, 48, of Portcullis Drive, Wallingford, was caught speeding on the A4130 on June 14, 2021. He was driving at 53mph. At Oxford Magistrates’ Court on February 1, he was fined £100, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and had three points put on his licence. He must pay a total of £134.
  •  Frances Ryan, 37, of Tile Hill Lane, Coventry was caught speeding on the A41 on July 20, 2021. He was driving at 64mph. At Oxford Magistrates’ Court on February 15, he was fined £177, ordered to pay £34 and to pay costs of £90. His driving licence was endorsed with five points. He must pay a total of £301.
  • Joel McCrea, 56, of Stowford Road, Oxford, was caught speeding on the A41 on July 17, 2021. He was driving at 66mph. At Oxford Magistrates’ Court on February 15, he was fined £125, ordered to pay a victim’s surcharge of £34 and costs of £90. He also had six points on his licence. He must pay a total of £249.
  • Declan Doran, 30, of Phipps Road, Oxford, was caught speeding on the A41 on July 19, 2021. He was driving at 66mph. At Oxford Magistrates’ Court on February 15, he was fined £150, ordered to pay a victim’s surcharge of £34 and costs of £90. He also had six points on his licence. He must pay a total of £274
  •  Jayshree Parmar, 66, of Chapman House, York Hill, London, was caught speeding on the A41 on July 17, 2021. He was driving at 71mph. At Oxford Magistrates’ Court on February 15, he was fined £104, ordered to pay a victim’s surcharge of £34 and costs of £90. He also had six points on his licence He must pay a total of £228.
  • Neil Weston, 40, of Lawrence Way, Bicester, was caught speeding on the A41 on March 30, 2021. He was driving at 81mph. At Oxford Magistrates’ Court on February 11, he was fined £657, ordered to pay a victims surcharge of £66 and to pay costs of £90. He also had six points on his licence. He must pay a total of £81
  •  Stephen White, 69, of Royal Wootton Bassett, Swindon, was caught speeding on the A41 on July 17, 2021. He was driving at 66mph. At Oxford Magistrates’ Court on February 15, he was fined £660, ordered to pay a victims surcharge of £66 and costs of £90. He also had six points on his licence. He must pay a total of £816
  • Declan Smith, 31, of Bouldish Farm Road, Ascot, was caught speeding on the A41 on July 20, 2021. He was driving at 48mph. At Oxford Magistrates’ Court on February 15, he was fined £100 and had three points on his licence.
  • Mohammed Tutla, 42, of Meadocourt Road, Leicester, was caught speeding on the A41 on July 17, 2021. He was driving at 66mph. At Oxford Magistrates’ Court on February 15, he was fined £426, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £42 and to pay costs of £90. He also had six points on his licence. He must pay a total of £558
  • Gary Rowles, 55, of Oxlease, Witney, was caught speeding on the A41 on March 26, 2021. He was driving at 64mph. At Oxford Magistrates’ Court on February 11, he was fined £646, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £65, costs of £90 and had four points on his license. He must pay a total of £801.
  • Shane Riddett, 43, of Lenham Heath Road, Maidstone, was caught speeding on the A41 on August 29, 2021. He was fined £100. He was also caught driving on the road without insurance. At Oxford Magistrates’ Court on February 7, he was fined £750, ordered to pay costs of £250, a victim surcharge of £85 and had 6 points on his licence. He must pay a total of £1,185.
