A MAN was stabbed multiple times in Blackbird Leys last week.
Thames Valley Police was called by South Central Ambulance Service at around 8.50pm to Mercury Road in Blackbird Leys on Friday.

The victim, a man in his 40s, was raced to hospital and is in a 'serious but stable' condition.
Thames Valley Police is investigating.

Arrests made
A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on Friday.
He was released on police bail on Saturday.
A second 16-year-old boy was arrested on Saturday night on suspicion of attempted murder.
He was released on conditional bail on Saturday until March 24.
Section 60 order
Following the stabbing, on Friday, Thames Valley Police signed off special powers enabling police officers to stop and search anyone in Blackbird Leys until midday on Saturday.
This is called a Section 60 order.

The stop and search order was then authorised for another 24 hours, lasting until 1pm on Sunday.
