JERMAINE JONES, 39, of James Street, Oxford, pleaded guilty to making a false representation by using a stolen bank card intending to make a gain of £28.99. He received a 12 month conditional discharge and must pay a £22 victim surcharge.
CHARLOTTE GOODWIN, 33, of London Road, Newbury, pleaded guilty to stealing £2,273 from the Huddersfield Giants Supporters Association. The offences were committed between February and July 2018 at a property in St Andrews Road, Huddersfield, court documents state. The Huddersfield Giants are a rugby league team. The magistrates ordered she pay £2,273 in compensation but did not order she pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service due to her limited means.
ROBERT FUZI, 29, of HMP Winchester, admitted assaulting a female prison guard at HMP Bullingdon on July 26 last year. He was given six weeks imprisonment, although it will run alongside the lengthier prison sentence he is already serving.
KYRAN MCFARLANE, 32, of Coltsfoot Square, Oxford, pleaded guilty to affray. The magistrates sent the case to the crown court for sentence. He was remanded in custody and is expected before a judge on March 24.
TIMOTHY HORTON, 48, of Godstow Road, Wolvercote, pleaded guilty to possession of three category C indecent images or videos of a child. He was sentenced to 14 weeks imprisonment suspended for two years with 150 hours of unpaid work and must complete up to 30 rehabilitation activity requirement sessions. A sexual harm prevention order limits his access to the internet for five years and he must register as a sex offender for seven years. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £128 victim surcharge.
CHRISTOPHER MERTHA, 31, of Acacia Close, Carterton, admitted breaching the requirements of his post prison sentence supervision by failing to attend probation appointments in December, January and February. He was fined £60 and ordered to pay £60 costs.
BEN RICHARDSON, 42, of Hailles Gardens, Bicester, was found guilty of using disorderly behaviour in North Street, Bicester, on June 29 last year. He was given a 12 month conditional discharge and made subject to a 12 month restraining order banning him from having contact with two people and from going to the Jacobs Plough pub in North Street. He must pay £222 in costs and surcharge.
MARILYN SWEENEY, 27, Arncott Road, Boarstall, admitted driving a Vauxhall Insignia in Kidlington on November 10 last year without insurance and obstructing a constable in the execution of his duty. She was fined £120, given six points and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge for the insurance matter. She was given a six month conditional discharge for obstructing the officer.
THOMAS BENNETT, 29, of Keats Meadow, Ledbury, Herefordshire, pleaded guilty to possession of a large kitchen knife in a public place in Lambourn. He was bailed to appear before Oxford Crown Court for sentence on March 24.
MICHAL FORNALCZYK, 34, of Cowley Road, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly at the John Radcliffe Hospital, using racially aggravated disorderly behaviour and using threatening behaviour towards two police officers. All the offences were committed on May 14, 2020. He was ordered to complete an alcohol treatment programme as part of a 12 month community order and must pay £100 in compensation. He was also ordered to pay a £95 victim surcharge.
