AN Oxfordshire cheesemaker has scooped up eight new awards this year for its variety of hand-made artisan cheeses.
Nettlebed Creamery, near Henley, won several categories in the Great Taste Awards 2022, the Artisan Cheese Awards 2022, and it won the Best Artisan Cheese Producers Award in the South Enterprise Awards 2022.

She said: “It is so uplifting to have the immense effort and dedication of the whole team at the Creamery recognized in this way.
“We work incredibly hard for awards like these, but never take them for granted. Our simple commitment has always been, and will remain, to produce the finest quality food, all of it made by hand and certified organic by the Soil Association, and with the utmost consideration to the environment and to the welfare of our animals."
Three prizes were awarded to different cheeses in the Great Taste Awards 2022, which is the world’s largest and most rigorous food awards scheme, including the Bix cheese, Witheridge cheese, and Highmoor cheese.
