The nation’s favourite aerobatic display team The Red Arrows could be seen flying over Oxfordshire this weekend.
There was a flyby of the village fete at Ramsden, West Oxfordshire, on Saturday afternoon - before the pilots turned west at Duns Tew and headed out of the county towards Evesham.
Across the county border, the Red Arrows flew over Swindon's Lydiard Park in a stunning spectacle just after 3pm on Saturday (June 10), much to the delight of the onlooking crowds.
They were joined in the Wiltshire skies by two historic Battle of Britain warplanes, the Spitfire and the Lancaster Bomber, our sister paper the Swindon Advertiser reported.
The Spitfire was due to fly over Swindon at 2.40pm on Saturday while the Lancaster Bomber was scheduled to follow suit at 11.40am on Sunday.
