Police have made an arrest in connection with an arson attack in Oxford.
A 45-year-old man from Oxford has been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life following a fire in Headington.
A man emptied a bottle believed to contain a flammable liquid at the front door and porch of a property in Girdlestone Road at 7.45pm on Friday evening, October 6.
The front door was set alight but the fire was quickly extinguished and no one was injured.
Police said a CCTV appeal for information is no longer active and has been removed.
The man remains in custody.
