LEWIS THOMPSON, 35, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted theft of six bottles of alcohol from Tesco in Bicester on March 15, stealing alcohol and a can of Monster energy drink from Tesco in Oxford on September 4, and theft of perfumes from John Lewis two days later. He was given a total sentence of six months’ imprisonment for the offences, which were committed while he was subject to a suspended prison sentence.
COLIN WILLIAMS, 34, of Cromwell Way, Kidlington, admitted drug driving an Audi Q7 on Grenoble Road, Oxford, on January 9. Blood tests showed he was over the limit for cannabis. The district judge fined him £1,000, banned him from the roads for a year and ordered he pay £1,400 in costs and surcharge.

DANIEL SHEFFORD, 31, of Hillsborough Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to assault by beating in Mayfair Road, Oxford, on June 24. He received a community order with a 12 month mental health treatment requirement. He must pay £150 in compensation and was given a year-long restraining order banning contact with his victim.
SAMANTHA PRIOR, 47, of Botley Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to 18 counts of shoplifting, a common assault and criminal damage at Marks and Spencers. She stole hundreds of pounds worth of alcohol and comestibles like meat, honey and cheese from Waitrose, M&S and the Co-op. She was jailed for six months by the magistrates.

JAMES CROUGHAN, 20, of Stretcher Drive, Hermitage, pleaded guilty to damaging TVs, paintings and plates in Didcot in late August. He was acquitted of stealing a mobile phone. The justices ordered he do 50 hours and up to 12 rehabilitation activity requirement days as part of a community order. He must also complete a mental health rehabilitation programme and pay £360 in compensation.
SHANE SKIPP, 30, of Hillside Close, Chalfont St Peter, admitted being in charge of a Ford Focus on Botley Road, Oxford, in April when he was over the drug-drive limit for benzoylecgonine. He was fined £384, banned from driving for 42 days and was ordered to pay £239 in costs and surcharge.

ALICE PUDDU, 29, of New Road, Great Tew, accepted drink driving a Nissan Qashqai on High Street, Banbury, on September 17. Tests showed she had 57mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35. She was fined £230, banned from driving for 16 months and was ordered to pay £177 in costs and surcharge.
TOM ELLIS, 46, of Muckhart, Stirling, was found guilty of assault causing grievous bodily harm in Cholsey on July 17, 2022. He received 22 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for a year and was ordered to pay £2,000 in compensation. He must also complete 150 hours of unpaid work. Ellis was also ordered to pay £454 in costs and surcharge.
ANTHONY MARTIN, 44, of no fixed address, admitted two counts of using threatening behaviour in Henley in September. He was fined £200, ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs and was handed a restraining order banning him from going to a property in Reading Road, Henley, for a year.
ARNAUD GARNIER, 51, of Millington Road, Wallingford, pleaded guilty to two counts of breaching a non-molestation order in Wallingford. He received 12 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for a year and was ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs.
