A developer has been allowed to add an extra floor to its soon-to-be built retirement home in Didcot.
Churchill Retirement Living had already been granted planning permission by South Oxfordshire District Council, the planning authority, for 28 retirement flats in March 2022.
But the company has now been given the green light to add a top floor with an extra five flats.

The retirement village will be built at the former Georgetown filling station on the corner of Foxhall Road and Broadway in the town.
The former Shell station was demolished in 2018.
The proposed retirement home has been designed as a three-storey L-shaped building with an internal courtyard.
The new top floor will be in place of a proposed traditional pitch roof.
The designs also include terraces to the top floor and two extra car parking spaces.
