Visitors from across the pond enjoyed the golden age of the Great Western Railway in Didcot over the weekend.
Didcot Railway Centre, a 21-acre museum, has trains dating from Victorian times to the 1960s.
On Saturday (January 26), William Monaghan of New Orleans, Louisiana, climbed onto the No 5900 Hinderton Hall and the No 1340 Trojan to experience the vintage trains at close quarters
One of the centre’s volunteers, Jacqui Gay, was also pictured polishing the nameplate of No 2999 Lady of Legend.
The next Steam Day is due to take place on Saturday, February 10, with 'Discovery Days' scheduled for every Saturday and Sunday this month.
Steam Days will continue throughout the half-term week on February, 11, 14, 17 and 18.
