A nurse who works for a charity offering palliative care will receive sponsorship from a Henley-based investment management firm for a fourth consecutive year.
Invesco has been sponsoring nurse Lindsey Pitkin, who works at Sue Ryder Palliative Care Hub South Oxfordshire, since January 2021 and will increase its sponsorship to £19,000 for 2024.
Ms Pitkin, who works 10-hour shifts at patients' homes, said: "I am very proud to be the Invesco-sponsored nurse and I am so pleased that Invesco have increased their generous sponsorship to support Sue Ryder."

Speaking about her role, she added: "It’s a great honour to be there for someone at that point in their life and offer that reassurance and support."
Sylvia Thomas, who heads the hospice at home team, said: "We couldn't reach all the people that need us without the support of businesses and individuals in our local community generously donating and fundraising for us."
Claire Myers, head of CSR and sponsorships at Invesco, said: "We have supported the charity, in various ways, since 2007 and are delighted to be able to extend our sponsorship by another year, so nurses like Lindsey can continue to be there when it matters."
Sue Ryder South Oxfordshire Palliative Care Hub's services extend to a large geographical area, including home visits for patient care and emotional support for families.
