Jeremy Clarkson and James May have had their say on England’s draw with Denmark at Euro 2024.

The former Top Gear duo were both evidently watching as the Three Lions took on the Danes in their second group-stage game of Euro 2024.

Playing out a 1-1 draw, England had taken an early lead through Harry Kane but were pegged back by Morten Hjulmand’s long shot in the first half.

The draw meant that Gareth Southgate’s men will have to wait until next Tuesday’s game with Slovenia to qualify for the knockouts.

With a lack of goals and intensity from both sides, the game left most of the public underwhelmed and this extended to Clarkson and May.

Both TV celebrities took to X, formerly Twitter, following the full-time whistle to share their thoughts on the match.

Clarkson alluded to his pig farming at his Diddly Squat Farm in Oxfordshire and made the connection to Denmark’s bacon fame.

“Yes. But we make better bacon,” he said.

May simply said: “Was that a bit… c**p?”

Both presenters have recently been in the news after May confirmed it was unlikely he would work with Clarkson or Richard Hammond again.

Speaking to Unilad, he said: "I think people would only really like us doing cars, despite what some people say - ‘Oh, I think you should all go off and do cooking or you should all go and do a podcast about nothing.’

“But I don’t think so, I think we should let it lie, what we did.”
