A regular bingo player in Didcot had an unexpected boost when she called the house on a life-changing £50,000 jackpot on the National Bingo Game.

The winner, who wants to remain anonymous, was playing at the Coronet Bingo hall on Tuesday (June 18) evening when all her numbers came up on the National Bingo Game.

The National Bingo Game started in 1986, with the current format launched in 2018 with the total prize money paid to date over £1 billion.

 Josh Davis, manager of Coronet Bingo in Didcot, said: “It was a regular Tuesday evening session, when suddenly it became anything other than regular.

"The atmosphere in the club was fantastic and everyone was delighted for the winner.

"We are thrilled for her and how this win will change her life."
