A new report ranks different roads in Oxfordshire based on the amount of time people are delayed during their journeys.
Using recent road data from GOV.UK, Online Marketing Surgery and Cromwell Trucks have ranked roads based on their length of delays in England, which has been compiled to create a Road Delay Report.
The most delayed major A road in Oxfordshire was the A43 northbound between M40 and B4100, with a vehicle being held up by 47.5 seconds per mile.
According to this data, these are the top 10 motorways and major A-roads in Oxfordshire with the most delays:

A43 southbound between B4100 and M40: 38.1 seconds per mile
A43 southbound between A421 and B4100: 29.6 seconds per mile
A34 southbound between A44 and A420: 29.4 seconds per mile
A34 northbound between B430 and M40/A41: 28.6 seconds per mile
A34 southbound within the A44 junction: 26.6 seconds per mile

A34 northbound within the A423/A4183 near Kennington (north) junction: 23 seconds per mile
A34 southbound between M40/A41 and B430: 22.3 seconds per mile

The data is from April 2023 to March 2024.
