Police have given an update on a cyclist who was hospitalised after being hit by an ambulance in Oxford.
The incident occurred at around 11am on Sunday (June 23) as an ambulance was responding to an emergency on blue lights when it was involved in a collision with a cyclist in his 60s.
This happened on Woodstock Road near the junction with Blandford Avenue leaving the man with life-threatening injuries.

He was treated at the scene by ambulance crews before being taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital by a response car from the Thames Valley Air Ambulance team.
Thames Valley Police has now provided the Oxford Mail with a new update on the injured cyclist on Saturday afternoon.
A spokesperson for the force said: “The cyclist remains in hospital at this time.”
