British rock band Coldplay wowed Glastonbury Festival goers with a thrilling show packed with music from their upcoming album and their classic hits.

The group headlined the Pyramid Stage for the fifth stage, breaking the record as the artists headline the iconic stage the most times.

Coldplay first headlined on the Pyramid Stage in 2002 and overtook The Cure, who have headlined the slot four times, on Saturday night in a performance that saw them throw it back to the year 2000 by opening with their hit song Yellow.

But, it wasn’t the group's musical catalogue of hit after hit that grabbed crowds at home, as members Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland, drummer Will Champion and bassist Guy Berryman were joined by a Hollywood legend.

Having the time of his life, Michael was wheeled on stage holding a red guitar ready to perform in front of thousands on the Pyramid stage.
