A JURY has been unable to reach a decision in a rape trial where a banger racer was accused of forcing a young girl to perform a sexual act on him.
Peter Jones was standing trial charged with one count of rape which allegedly took place on December 3, 2021.
It is alleged that Jones had raped the girl in a field after the pair had exchanged naked photographs on Snapchat.

However, Jones, of Furlong Close, Oxford, has denied the offence – stating what had happened was consensual.
This week, the jury could not reach a verdict and a judge dismissed them.
Jones is due back in court on Thursday (June 4) where a decision will be made on whether to retry him or not.
