An annual 'bring and share' lunch has marked the end of an era for a primary school as its reception class prepares to move to a new location.

The Headington Quarry lunch was a celebration of the partnership between Headington Quarry Foundation Stage School and St Andrew's Primary School, both in Oxford.

The St Andrew's reception class will move to the main site on London Road in September after years of being based at Headington Quarry.

T-towels marked the years of the partnership as the nursery children shared songs and the reception class, called the Rainbow Class, did maypole dancing.

The Rainbow children said: "We wore special smart clothes - the girls wore a skirt and a rainbow flower and the boys wore a rainbow tie because we are the last ever rainbows."
