A series of four crashes occurred on two major Oxfordshire roads over the weekend.

One of the crashes occurred on the A34 near Abingdon which caused major delays just hours before England's Euro 2024 final on Sunday at around 6pm.

Then shortly afterwards three further crashes were reported on the M40 near Banbury which added to further delays.

Two of them have occurred on the M40 southbound while the other has happened on the M40 northbound.
