Two streets in Oxfordshire have been named among the best to live on in the UK.

Buying a new home can be stressful and complicated with many different things to think about.

One of the most popular market towns in West Oxfordshire, Charlbury, is packed with narrow lanes of Cotswold stone cottages and elegant townhouses.

Church Street has the Rose and Crown, a CAMRA pub, on the corner, and lovely views towards the church. 

The town has good local shops, pubs, doctors and dentists, and a main railway station for commuters.

Given Oxford's renown as a seat of learning it is fitting that the best street should be the one closest to its most prestigious school.

The Dragon, a co-educational day and boarding prep school, whose former pupils include Emma Thompson and Hugh Lawrie, is at the top of Park Town where you find Charlington Road.

With its sky-high prices, handsome substantial townhouses and wealthy residents, this area is getting a reputation as Oxford's Notting Hill.
