An Oxford man has admitted he hit a police officer outside the Headington Shark.
The incident took place on Saturday, July 20, as Juan Carlos Clarke of Luther Street allegedly assaulted a police officer on New High Street in Headington.
This happened just outside of the infamous Headington Shark house which has become a tourist hotspot since its overnight installation in the 1980s.
The Oxford landmark is a seven-metre fibreglass sculpture of a shark designed by John Buckley.

Clarke was arrested and charged, subsequently pleading guilty to the assault of an emergency worker at Oxford Magistrates Court on Monday.
The 32-year-old will be sentenced at Oxford Crown Court on Monday, August 12.
