A SENTENCING date has been set for a teenager who admitted to engaging in sexual activity with a teenage girl.
The 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on July 10.
He was charged with one count of engaging in penetrative activity with a girl 13 to 15 – the offender being under 18.

It was heard that on June 24, 2022 in Harwell, Didcot, when the boy would have been 15, he engaged in penetrative activity with a teenage girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, who was also 15 years of age.
At the lower court, the boy pleaded guilty. The case has now been adjourned for sentencing to take place on August 21.
It is expected to take six hours.
