The rebranding of a car manufacturer based near Bicester is a "significant and exciting milestone" for the firm, its founder has said.

The Little Car Company, which is based at Bicester Heritage, will now be known as Hedley Studios.

The rebranding mirrors the name of the firm's founder, Ben Hedley, and looks to cements its position as a luxury art and automotive brand.

Hedley Studios said it is now set to "revolutionise its portfolio with an array of ground breaking projects that redefine automotive craftsmanship".

Mr Hedley said: "Rebranding as Hedley Studios marks a significant and exciting milestone in our journey as a luxury brand, and a personal journey that I’m incredibly proud of.

"This evolution not only honours our heritage, but also propels us into a future where we continue to blend art with automotive excellence."

He added: "As the company has grown and matured, so has the understanding of our clientele and the way that they perceive our brand and use our products.

"With many of our pieces on permanent static display as cherished collector items, they are still fully functional and driveable, embodying the perfect blend of art and automotive excellence for those who appreciate the thrill of driving.

“We are excited to carry forward our legacy, creating timeless, driveable artworks that inspire and delight collectors worldwide.”
