The Northern Lights were visible over Oxfordshire in the early hours of this morning.
Chris Pomeroy captured the stunning array of colours over west Oxfordshire at around 4.30am today (September 18).
The picture was taken in the field next to Mr Clarkson's pub, The Farmers Dog, in Burford Road near Witney.
"I've been seeing them almost weekly when there are clear skies due to solar maximum we are approaching in the solar 11 cycle," he said.

"I've see them regularly from the Burford Road recently."
Mr Pomeroy said he closely watches space weather groups and reads space weather events on websites to keep track of when the Northern Lights will be visible.
The Northern Lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis, generally appear in high-latitude regions such as the Arctic or Scandinavia.
Their colourful glow is caused by a stream of charged particles that have escaped the sun (known as solar wind) interacting with the Earth’s magnetic field.
