Oxfordshire has been hit be a second day of flooding.

Heavy rainfall started on Sunday night and continued into Monday morning leaving large parts of the county flooded.

Schools were closed, buses diverted and roads shut as residents and the emergency services battled the floods.

Oxford was affected badly too with cars having to drive through excess water.

Videos have emerged of vehicles trying to plough through water on Cowley Road and in Headington Quarry.

More rainfall landed on Monday evening into Tuesday morning leaving the city and various parts of the county flooded again.

Several bus services have already been cancelled with some trains also running at a reduced speed.

Thames Valley Police has closed multiple roads across the county too following the adverse weather.

An amber weather warning was issued by the Met Office for the county.
