A councillor has stepped down from a district council leading to a shake-up of roles.
Rizvana Poole has stepped down from West Oxfordshire District Council.
Cllr Rachel Crouch has replaced her as executive member for stronger, healthy communities.
A by-election date is expected to be set soon.
Andy Graham, leader of the council, said: “I would like to thank Cllr Poole for her service with the executive.
"She has done a fantastic job working with officers on improving community and public health campaigns, our refugee resettlement programme and working with young people.
“I would like to welcome Cllr Crouch to the executive and look forward to working with her on this key area of council delivery, as we look to plan for a stronger healthier West Oxfordshire.
"Priorities will include continuing our work with the volunteer sector, working with young people, ensuring we continue to work with our communities, and delivering excellent customer services to all our residents."
Ms Crouch said: “I am pleased to be able to step up to the executive as the member for Stronger, Healthy Communities for West Oxfordshire District Council.
"I look forward to continuing the work Cllr Poole had delivered during her time as executive member.”
Ms Poole, a Chipping Norton town councillor, was elected to West Oxfordshire District Council in May 2022.

She is the founder and director of community food hub Chippy Larder which helps prevent food waste by redistributing hundreds of tonnes of surplus food from supermarkets and local farms to community organisations.
In March 2022 the Labour councillor drove 1,000 miles to Poland with former Witney MP and Chipping Norton local Lord Cameron to deliver vital supplies to Ukraine war refugees.
Thousands of items including nappies, first aid kits, bedding and clothing were donated by people in Oxfordshire.
Ms Poole stood for selection as a Labour candidate for MP for Banbury in this year's general election.
The seat was won by Sean Woodcock, leader of the Labour group on Cherwell District Council.
The change in executive members was made at the full council meeting yesterday (Wednesday September 25).
