The sun was shining for Carterton's Market Day on Thursday (October 3), with food, flowers, and greeting cards on offer.

Shoppers were treated to a selection of goods, including cakes, bread, fruit, and vegetables, as well as the cards and flowers, and offerings from a Lebanese delicatessen.

Louise showcased her honey and beeswax products, while Will from The Wildlife Trust was also present.

Past markets have also offered a selection of homemade jewellery, health and wellbeing products, and small memorial plaques and artificial flowers at guest stalls held alongside regular sellers.

Those interested in having their own stall at the market can contact council officer Katie at kzazada@carterton-tc.gov.uk.
