Police have interviewed the vandals who set fire to a charity knitted postbox topper.

Rachel Crook -  also known as Yarnsy - regularly makes beautiful crocheted creations to jolly up letter boxes.

Her topper on a postbox on The Broadway in Didcot was made for Sobell House's OxTrail fundraising campaign from July 6 to August 29.

Shockingly vandals set fire to the postbox topper in early September.

Police launched an investigation and in an update Thames Valley Police said they have now identified the suspects and the individuals have been interviewed under caution.

Their enquiries are ongoing.

After the attack Ms Crook posted pictures of the damage on Facebook and received hundreds of shocked comments.

She replied: "I think Yarnsy will be taking a bit of a break after this.

"I never dreamed anyone would set fire to my creation."
