Firefighters in Oxford were joined by a member of their station's community support service team last week to offer a glimpse into what a day doing their job looks like.
On Thursday, October 17, Daisy joined Rewley Road Station's red watch to join in with everything the team did.
This included vehicle and equipment checks, a fitness session, a breathing apparatus scenario drill involving multiple casualties, an incident response, and safe and well visits in the community.
Rewley Road Fire Station said: "Most importantly, she spent time chatting to the watch and getting to know us.
"Likewise it was great for us to find more out about her role and what goes on in the wider team."
