A flood alert has been issued for Oxford this afternoon after recent heavy rainfall.
The Environment Agency issued the alert for the River Thames and tributaries in the Oxford area today.
The agency said flooding is possible in areas between Wolvercote down to and including Radley and Jericho.
This comes after the city was hit with severe rainfall over the last few weeks, with floods in parks and on major roads.

On the government's website, it said: “Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels are rising on the Thames and its tributary channels in Oxford following recent heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads is expected this afternoon.
“The forecast today is for light showers. We expect river levels to remain high and sensitive to rainfall for the next few days.
“We are monitoring the situation. Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and do not drive through flood water.
“Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels.”
England endured its wettest 18 months on record up to March.
Floods Minister Emma Hardy previously said: “Through the recent launch of our Floods Resilience Taskforce, this government is taking decisive action to accelerate the development of flood defences and bolster the nation’s resilience to extreme weather.”
