More than £1,000 has been raised for a charity which supports young people with their mental health by a team from an opticians in Bicester.
The staff at Specsavers on Sheep Street began their fundraising efforts for Nai's House, also based in the town, in June 2023 with a bake-off competition.
They have now raised a total of £1,200 for the charity through various activities.
Last year, assistant manager Katrina ran the Oxford Half Marathon, raising £455.
Throughout the year, the team has organised bake sales, children's colouring competitions, and placed Nai's House collection boxes in store for customers to donate to the charity.
Nai's House offers a "new" way for young people to access and receive mental health support, providing "safe options and solutions" for those struggling in the community.
Satnam Johal, store director at Specsavers Bicester, said: "We are proud to be supporting Nai's House because we know that people who struggle with their mental health are too often overlooked and underrepresented.
"The team are thrilled to have raised more than £1,000 to support the crucial service Nai's House provides for young people in our local area.
"We know times are tough at the moment, so we’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who donated, we are so grateful for your support."
The charity is working to reduce suicide, self-harm, and poor emotional and mental wellbeing in under 30s.
