Police are searching for a man after a woman was 'inappropriately touched' at an Oxfordshire supermarket.

The incident occurred at a supermarket on Cogges Hill, Witney at around 10pm on Thursday, September 19. 

Officers say that the victim, a woman in her 30s, was touched inappropriately by a man at the shop.

Thames Valley Police has since released an image of an individual officers would like to speak to.

Investigating officer PC Chloe Palacio, said “I am appealing to anyone who recognises the individual in the image as they may have vital information to assist us with our enquiries.

“Additionally we ask anyone with mobile phone footage to get in touch with the force in case it has captured something which may assist this investigation.

“If you have any information relating to this incident, please call 101 or report it online, quoting 43240452188.

“Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
