A dogwalker has stumbled across a “crashed satellite” which was “making funny noises” in Oxfordshire.
Charlie Arnold from Goring was walking his dog in Lardon Chase just outside Streatley on the Berkshire border on the morning of Sunday (October 27) when he encountered the odd sight.
“It appears to be a crashed satellite and it was making a fuzzy noise,” he said.
“Quite a few people are bemused by it and taking photos of it and there is a sign saying that the authorities are aware and that the type of satellite is a Binoclarit.”

The silver “satellite” is cordoned off with red tape and attached is a sign which reads: “Space authority aware.
“Do not touch this Binoclarit (DR) satellite.”
This “crashed satellite” appears to be some kind of hoax or joke with the authorities including Thames Valley Police unaware of any reports.
