Eynsham has been named as the happiest place to live in Oxfordshire, according to a new survey.
The popular commuter village was the highest rated location in the county in a list of the 70 happiest places by online store Furniturebox.
In second place in Oxfordshire was Wantage, Abingdon was third, Faringdon was fourth and Chipping Norton was fifth.
Locations were ranked according to the beauty of the surroundings and green spaces, provision of good state schools and affordable housing, as well as access to quality pubs, restaurants, independent shops and cultural attractions.

Located four miles west of Oxford on the edge of the Green Belt, Eynsham has a growing population of around 4,500 people and is chock-a-block with high earners.
The West Oxfordshire Local Plan and Eynsham’s own Neighbourhood Plan recognise this, emphasising social housing and homes for key workers, with a number of greenfield extensions planned, including a 2,200-home garden village to the north, and a site to the west for 900 homes.
Barthomlomew School, a secondary with 1,300 pupils, is rated as 'outstanding' by Ofsted and Eynsham Community Primary is rated as 'good'.
The Red Lion in Market Square and the Queen's Head in Queen Street are popular pubs.
