Police cars swarmed a busy Oxford road after an attack hospitalised a teenager.
The incident occurred at around 11.37pm on Tuesday (November 12) when three police cars were spotted on Cowley Road and Howard Street.
A man in his late teens was attacked on Howard Street and sustained injuries causing him to require hospital treatment.
An eyewitness said Thames Valley Police officers could be seen checking the area with flashlights, looking at houses and behind bins.

The force confirmed the incident and made an appeal to the public for more information and possible witnesses to come forward and aid with the ongoing investigation.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “We received a report of an assault with injury.
“Officers attended the scene and an investigation has been launched.
“Anyone who witnessed the incident, has CCTV, dash-cam or mobile phone footage, or any information, please call 101, quoting the reference 43240548563.”
