The introduction of paid parking bays and double yellow lines on roads in Woodstock could be approved by the county council.
The parking bays would be located in Cockpit Close, with parked vehicles being charged from 8am to 6pm every day.
Double yellow lines would be added to sections of Cockpit Close, Rectory Lane and New Lane, as well as in front of No. 24 Market Street.
Dual-purpose parking bays would also be introduced on New Road for permit-holders, with non-permit holders being allowed to stay for a maximum of three hours.

The county council said that the introduction of paid parking spaces would allow residents more flexibility to have visitors and trades people without using up allocations of visitor permits, while the double yellow lines would help promote road safety.
The cabinet member for transport management, Andrew Gant, will decide whether to take on these measures at the Delegated Decisions meeting today (Thursday, November 14).
Following the formal consultation, the council received 14 responses to its online survey, which demonstrated mixed views on different measures.
A representative from Woodstock Town Council objected the creation of double yellow lines and the addition of contractor permits but had no objection to the other measures under specific conditions.
This comes amid controversial proposals to remove parking bays on Hollow Way to decrease congestion, which local businesses say will damage trade.
