Pyjama Week at a baby and child swim school has raised more than £1,300 for a charity which creates T-shirts and baby vests for children receiving cancer treatment.

Children from Puddle Ducks Oxfordshire helped to raise £1,307 for Wiggly T - a small, not-for-profit based in Stroud.

Puddle Ducks’ young swimmers took to the water wearing their pyjamas during their lessons.

Dominique Farmer from Wiggly T said: "1,800 children are diagnosed each year with cancer in the UK, but nearer 4,200 children are undergoing treatment annually.

"A Wiggly T is a soft, cotton jersey T-shirt with snap poppers that allow for easy access to the child’s central line for treatment.

"We are so grateful to all the children who got involved."

Becci Stenson, owner of Puddle Ducks Oxfordshire, added: "Being able to raise a fantastic £1,307 for the wonderful Wiggly T is such an achievement.

"It's yet again been a great success and knowing we are helping so many children makes me really proud."
